The cast was invited to perform at The Haygoods Theater in Branson, Mo. as the preshow. They sang many well-known Christmas songs, as well as some unique Country-style songs. The fiddling from Kayla Gray was spectacular, and the clogging from Jacy, Jolean, and Rachel was entertaining. It was a great experience for the young ladies. Thank you Haygoods!

Spreading Christmas Cheer

The cast of United We Stand and guest, Maranda Garner, spread some "Country Christmas Cheer" to residents in several local retirement centers. They sang, clogged, and danced their way into the hearts of their audience. And added much holiday merriment.

Christmas times A-comin....especially for the group of talented young ladies. The 2011 Christmas season in BRANSON, Mo has the UNITED WE STAND cast, under director Debbie Wentler and co-director Lanita Hackney, invited to sing and celebrate with visitors at several big venues. This years show has a lot of country Christmas favorites, clogging, singing, high technique dance choreography, and even some good old fiddle playing. Costumed in traditional colors of the season, the group has a mature look for their shows to close out the 2011 show season with their fans in Branson. "Many of the holiday venues for this advanced group come from crowds requesting them back", says director Debbie Wentler. "We are so pleased by the reception the cast has received from the high-end venues in the town this year, although it has made us crazy busy! The ladies are looking forward to singing with each other and performing for their fans. They are ready to share the holiday spirit in true BRANSON style." Christmas schedule to be posted soon....

THE GIRLS GOT TALENT............

At the end of July, the United We Stand Cast competed at the American Kids National Talent Competition. Singing both solos and group songs, they received medalions for their level of ability. More importantly, it gave the girls a chance to visit and catch up with other young performers from Illinois and Oklahoma. Fun, Family, and Friends..........

PATRIOTISM IN THE HEARTS.....
The cast was invited to help celebrate July 4 Independence Day at two different events. They sang at the Rogersville City July 4 Picnic and the Springfield Midtown July 4 Celebration. Both events were a lot of fun and a great way to share their patriotism with these communities.........

In July, the United We Stand Show went on the road.....their first stop was the Prater Country Music Jubilee where they performed with a live band. The audience loved their "Mountain Music" and choreographed old country songs. Other stops along their tour were CLAY COOPER'S COUNTRY MUSIC EXPRESS, LAMAR SOUNDS ON THE SQUARE, THE HAYGOODS SHOW, and several other venues............

The month of June ended with a trip back to Dick Clarks Theater-this time to perform as part of Legends in Concert show. Aretha Franklin, the Blues Brothers, Elvis, and Michael Jackson were performing there too that date. "Spectacularly Amazing" were words used to describe the portion that United We Stand sang in the Branson Daily Newspaper critique of the show..............

Although performing season for the United We Stand cast began
in April, the month of June saw a crazy busy schedule for the girls.
They started off the month with an invitation to sing with The Brett
Family at the Dick Clark's Theater in Branson. It was a fabulous

In May, the city of Joplin Missouri was hit with a tornado that created mass destruction. Within days, the cast of United We Stand gathered donations and supplies for the Humane Society of Joplin, loaded up cars, and headed to lend a hand. The performers and their families spent time helping at one of the donation centers at the Joplin Mall.

ARTSFEST ON WALNUT STREET IN SPRINGFIELD, MO
The United We Stand cast performed their "Little bit country/Little bit rock n' roll" show at Artsfest for a large crowd of visitors this weekend. The weather was beautiful for the outdoor stage and venue. It was a fun day for all............the group has already been asked to return next year!

VIETNAM VETERAN BENEFIT SHOW AT HAMNER BARBER THEATER

The United We Stand cast were proud to be involved in the benfit show at Hamner Barber Theater in Branson this past week. They entertained visitors and supporters with their Country music during the silent auction. Many great items were auctioned off to benefit the organization. Then the group opened the benefit show with their patriotic section! The audience of 500+ people gave them a warm reception and loved their performance~ we look forward to continue working with this great group.

Dick Clark's Theater Show

The cast of United We Stand performed two preshows at the Dick Clark Theater last week-for Legends in Concert and for Rock U Mentally Live. The kids got a chance to meet the performers, sing at a large stage venue, and be featured guests of these Branson entertainment hot spots. It was a great time!

Benefit to raise money for MDA at Branson Landing June 2010
